Just got back from Geek Squad. Apparently, my laptop was so damaged that the hard drive was useless. So everything's gone if I don't want to go and shell out for a forensic recovery thingy. I will miss the papers and pr0n the most. Lucky for me I put my thesis online so people could look at it, which means that I don't have to type it up again. Though I did lose all my pictures and notes for my presentations, unless I still have one of the cds I used (which I doubt).

The good news, on the other hand, arrived in several mysterious boxes today. More news on that later.
